A lovely lesson for life!!!!

A student asks a teacher: What is love?

The teacher said: in order to answer your question, go to the paddy
field and choose the biggest paddy and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back
to pick.

The student went to the field, got thru first row...... he saw one big paddy,
but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw
another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting
for
  him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the paddy field, he realized that the paddy is not as big as the previous ones he saw, he
knows
he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted. So, he ended up going back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, this is love... you keep looking for a better
one,
but later you realize, you have already missed the person
The student asked: What is marriage then?

The teacher said: In order to answer your question, go to the corn
field
and choose the biggest corn and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back
to pick.

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to
repeat the previous mistake, when he reached the middle of the field, he picked one medium corn & he felt satisfied, and came back to the
teacher.

The teacher told him, this time you bring back a corn.... you look for
one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best
one you got.... this is marriage.

Isn't it wonderful!!!!

What do you want Cup or Coffee

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university lecturer.Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and ex! quisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said "If  you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones.

While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that  is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups.

Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee
in it."

So don't let the cups drive you ... enjoy the coffee instead.

Small lesson worth reading ...do read

1st year students of MBBS were attending their 1st anatomy class. They all gathered around the surgery table with a real dead dog. The Professor started class by telling two important qualities as a Doctor. The 1st is that NEVER BE DISGUSTED FOR ANYTHING ABOUT BODY, e.g. He inserted his finger in dog's ass & on drawing back tasted it in his own mouth. Then he said them to do the same. The students hesitated for several minutes. But eventually everyone inserted their fingers in dog's ass & then tasted it.
When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them and said: The most important 2nd quality is OBSERVATION, I inserted my Middle fingerbut tasted the Index finger. Now learn to pay attention

Moral:
Life is tough but it's a lot tougher when you are not paying attention

The STory of the Cracked Pot

The Story Of The Cracked Pot: For Anyone Who's Not Quite Perfect Print E-mail
crackedpot.jpg
A waterbearer in India had two large pots, one hung on each end of a pole, which he carried across his neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it. While the other pot was perfect, and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water in his master's house.

The perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream: "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you."

Why?" asked the bearer. "What are you ashamed of?"

"I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path."

Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some.

But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again it apologized to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?

flower_pot.jpg“That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them.

“For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house."

Moral: Each of us has our own unique flaws. We're all cracked pots.

But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. We've just got to take each person for what they are, and look for the good in them.

There's a lot of good out there.

A lesson to be learned

Lets learn something from this message..

"Great Message"

It was a Sports Stadium.

Eight girls were standing on the track to participate in a running event.

* Ready! * Steady! * Bang!!!

With the sound of Toy pistol, All eight girls started running.

Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps,

when one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down,

Due to bruises and pain she started crying.

When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back.

Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help.

One among them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently

And enquired as to how she was.

They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her.

Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post........ .

There was pin drop silence at the spectator's stand. Officials were shocked.

Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation.

Many eyes were filled with tears And perhaps even God's!

YES! This happened in Hyderabad [INDIA], recently!

The sport was conducted by National Institute of Mental Health.

All these special girls had come to participate in this event

They were spastic children. Yes, they were Mentally Challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD?
Teamwork?
Humanity?
Equality among all?

Successful people help others who are slow in learning
so that they are not left far behind.
We never do this because we have brains!!!!
"Success is not about reaching your destination before everyone, but how you reach your destination."

Making of a Woman

By the time the Lord made mothers, He was into the sixth day working overtime. An Angel appeared and said "Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the Lord answered and said, "Have you read the spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not elastic; have 200 movable parts, all replaceable; run on black coffee and leftovers; have a lap that can hold three children at one time and that disappears when she stands up; have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart; and have six pairs of hands."

The Angel was astounded at the requirements for this one. "Six pairs of hands! No way!" said the Angel.

The Lord replied, "Oh, it's not the hands that are the problem. It's the three pairs of eyes that mothers must have!"

"And that's on the standard model?" the Angel asked.

The Lord nodded in agreement, "Yep, one pair of eyes are to see through the closed door as she asks her children what they are doing even though she already knows. Another pair in the back of her head are to see what she needs to know even though no one thinks she can. And the third pair are here in the front of her head. They are for looking at an errant child and saying that she understands and loves him or her without even saying a single word."

The Angel tried to stop the Lord "This is too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish."

"But I can't!" The Lord protested, "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick AND can feed a family of six on a pound of hamburger and can get a nine year old to stand in the shower."

The Angel moved closer and touched the woman, "But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft," the Lord agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?" asked the Angel.

The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason, and negotiate."

The Angel then noticed something and reached out and touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like You have a leak with this model. I told You that You were trying to put too much into this one."

"That's not a leak." the Lord objected. "That's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the Angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her disappointment, her pain, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride."

The Angel was impressed. "You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything for this one. You even created the tear!"

The Lord looked at the Angel and smiled and said, "I'm afraid you are wrong again. I created the woman, but she created the tear!"

>>
>> We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was
